About this Event
As in years past, ASICS has once again partnered with One Tree Planted to launch the Run for Reforestation Challenge to help in their efforts to create a more sustainable future! To complete the challenge, participants must complete a 5K between April 1 – April 30 in the Runkeeper app. To support this activation, ASICS will plant 75,000 trees once they reach their goal of 75,000 Challenge completions!
To help ASICS get closer to their goal and to clean up our community, VYTL Sports will be hosting District Detox on Sunday April 21st. Participants will meet at the Anacostia Field House to begin a 5K walk/run along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail while collecting trash and liter along the way. Our event will conclude with a brunch party at Big Stick in Navy Yard, gathering for food and drinks.
