About this Event
Organised by Material Index and set amongst the exhibition What lasts doesn’t always hold shape at 1 Poultry, the event aims to explore how acts of subtraction are represented, negotiated, and rarely detailed, and how these decisions shape what becomes waste and what is allowed to last.
Open to both industry and the public, the discussion will be followed by informal networking and time to explore the exhibition. The Material Index team will also be on hand to demonstrate their reuse platform and newly launched marketplace for reclaimed materials.
We are very excited to welcome the following guests to lead the discussion groups:
- Morgan Lewis (Director and CEO of Material Index)
- Olivia Daw (Product Lead at Material Index)
- Katie May Boyd (Co-Founder of Studio Tip)
- Tom Hesselenberg (Associate Sustainability Consultant and Chartered Structural Engineer at Elliott Wood Engineers)
- Laura Mohirta (Architect at Barr Gazetas)
