Description
The secret’s out: beef tallow is here for a renaissance, and we’re lucky enough to taste it. Versatile with a high smoke point, tallow is a traditional cooking fat that’s been a cornerstone of cooking for centuries, in kitchens around the world. Loved by many of your favorite chefs, this one ingredient manages to deliver incredible flavor and unmatched crispness.
During this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to render your own beef tallow and master searing, roasting, frying, and baking with it. Working in teams, you’ll work together to create the most satisfying crust on steak, perfectly caramelize roasted vegetables, pull off the crispiest French fries, and the flakiest melt-in-your-mouth pastry.
You will be working in a small group. For ages 18 and up. 21 or older? You’ll enjoy a glass of wine paired with your meal.

At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.
