The Texas Big Star Half Marathon & 5K is Frisco’s first and only half-marathon. This event brings together runners, volunteers, and supporters for a day of fitness, fun, and community spirit. More than just a race, this event fuels local impact. The BSHM has raised over $350,000 for area charities and supports scholarships through the Frisco Education Foundation, Collin College Foundation, and initiatives through the Frisco Chamber Foundation.
The race welcomes around 2,000 runners from across the region and around the world. Beyond the course, the event brings together families, friends, and members of the local community who gather at the Finishers Fest to cheer, celebrate, and connect.
