Art journalist Holly Howe is teaming up with established graffiti artist Snoe to lead you on a walk around the Shoreditch triangle. Together they will introduce you to the key graffiti and street art works in the area. The tour will include pieces by Banksy, Thierry Noir, D*Face, Mr Cenz, Dr D, and Eine, as well as important local graffiti spots (where the works change regularly).
Discover a hidden alleyway papered with graffiti and street art works – one of the last spots in Shoreditch that shows how the area looked 20+ years ago when artists covered the streets with their work. The tour will also discuss the evolution of graffiti, showing examples of how big brands are working with street artists to create murals for their outdoor advertising.
And did you know that Shoreditch was home to Shakespeare’s original Globe theatre? The tour will also pass by the original site to show you a different style of mural – a building featuring Juliet looking down from her balcony at Romeo…
The tour will last approximately 1.5 hours. The exact meeting point (near Old Street tube station) will be sent to you the day before the event, and the guided walk will take place in and around the Shoreditch triangle (the area bordered by Old Street, Great Eastern Street, and Shoreditch High Street).

About Holly Howe: Holly Howe is a freelance art journalist, writing for various publications including The Art Newspaper, The Arts Society, State/F22 magazine, Complex and Elephant. She leads guided art walks in London and gives art talks at galleries and venues including Soho House, the Mondrian Hotel and the House of St Barnabas. She works with senior leaders in the art world, advising them on their websites, comms strategies and social media profiles, as well as with corporate clients to strengthen their internal communications. About Snoe: He began his graffiti writing career in Plymouth, Devon in 1986, and formed the Great Western Rockers (GWR) crew with Seks in 1995. In 1998 he formed The Rolling People (TRP) crew in London with Seks, Scarce, Cept, BRK192, Egoe, Azis and Seb, and together they have painted many seminal murals, some of which still survive to this day! Snoe also paints commercial murals and commissions for major international brands, runs graffiti team-building corporate workshops, gives private one-on-one spray painting tuition, and produces bespoke private commissions for individuals.
