About this Event
Come Explore Lake Tomorata with this fun free family friendly event! With funding from the Auckland Council and Foundation North we will be running a fun filled day of lake exploration! Join us for a day of guided kayaking with Auckland Sea Kayaks, snorkelling and freshwater workshop with Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust, and pest surveying with Auckland Council Biosecurity and Waikato University. Learn how to protect this vulnerable lake from freshwater pests like golden clam. Fun for the whole whānau. Koha - donations appreciated.
