Discorotica returns on Saturday the 13th of September for round two 🚀
This time raising funds for Max's top surgery.
We had such an excellent time at our debut back in May that we couldn't wait to do it all again, this time we will be bringing you even more Italo and even more queer disco combined with EBM, electro, Darkwave and synthpop!
What to expect? Think along the lines of the 80s meets the present & goth meets disco in the most queer and campy way, fueled by sizzling dancefloor bangers. 🪩
SAFETY: There will be a trusted team of us who will be running the night to help ensure that everyone is safe, comfortable and has someone to approach should they need too.
We will not tolerate any forms of inappropriate behavior eg, touching others without consent, harassment/threatening behaviour (verbal, physical or any other form), cat calling, offensive/hate speech of any kind, offensive imagery. Any of the following will result in entry refusal or removal from the night.
QUEER SAFE SPACE: This night is queer ran and designed to bring staggering amounts of gothic dance goodness coupled with total queer joy and expression, the dancefloor is for everyone so come as you are. Inclusion is at the heart of my events so we mean it when we say "body music for all bodies".
We welcome anyone who is respectful, the idea behind this night was to create an event and movement that radiates the energy and connection of historic club culture, that brought communities together and built connection based on music and expression.
Pay what you can on the door (suggested £3)
Please note there is no disabled access to the premises and the venue is up a flight of stairs, we will look to hold more of these going forward in various locations so that we can meet access needs.
