Then, in the wake of Disco, came House, Techno and other genres of innovative and progressive Dance Music, all in some degree inspired by Disco, to take things even further.
Yet Dance Music and clubs were around long before the late ’70s. Prior to the birth of Disco people danced together to the sounds of Soul, Funk, Jazz and Rhythm&Blues. And all these musical styles later came to inspire and shape the sound of Disco.
Everything is connected. Discodiskotekets philosophy is to bring all elements of past, present and future together on the Dancefloor to celebrate the amazing history of Dance Music.
