Join Aquinas College and LDA of Michigan along with other campus departments and community agencies for an event to highlight disability advocacy on campus and in the West Michigan community. Organizations and campus departments will share their services and supports for people with disabilities along with volunteer opportunities for other disability advocates and allies.
Students from Aquinas' School of Education will also share poster sessions of their research related how disability is represented in literature and how educators can better understand and prepare for working with students with disabilities in their classrooms.
