Ever wanted to discuss and learn everything from organizing to queer faith or kink and more? Look no further! Save the date for Dirty Work - Workshops & Skillshares, happening on Saturday, June 27th & Sunday, June 28th at 7 Stages (1105 Euclid Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307) as a part of the Southern Fried Queer Pride 2025 Festival.
This event happens on Saturday, June 27h & 28th.
This event opens at 12:30PM and runs until 6PM on both days.
These workshops are all ages; content of each workshop is up to attendee discretion.
This event is free; however we will be collecting suggested sliding scale donations of $5-$20.

Pleasure with(out) a Purpose: Queer Pathways to Pleasure, Joy, & Worthiness

Info: In this interactive workshop, participants will explore what brings them pleasure and how their communities honor (or silence) it. Together, we’ll reflect on queer pleasure as a powerful form of resistance in today’s political climate. Through open discussion, guided self-reflection, and shared dialogue, participants will deepen their understanding of pleasure and close with a grounding pleasure meditation.

Info: This interactive educational workshop centers transmasculine experiences with fertility, pregnancy, birth, and reproductive autonomy. Participants will explore fertility options, bodily agency, and navigating reproductive healthcare systems that often exclude or misunderstand trans masculine people. Grounded in lived experience and practical knowledge, the session provides tools, shared language, and resources to support informed reproductive decision-making.

Cultivating Capacity: Skill Building for Embodied Conflict Resolution

Info: As licensed mental health clinicians and Somatic Experiencing Practitioners, we recognize that navigating conflict is crucial when building and sustaining community. This workshop will offer somatic techniques to help participants notice safety, boundaries, and authentic presence. Participants will have an opportunity to practice centering, stabilization, and regulation tools to feel better equipped to show up more fully while honoring both connection and difference during conflict.

Info: Big Consent Energy is an interactive consent education workshop designed for raves, festivals, and dance spaces. Learn how to recognize boundaries, practice enthusiastic consent, intervene safely as a bystander, and help create dance floors rooted in respect, autonomy, and collective care. Trauma-informed, culture-specific, and community-powered—because safer spaces mean better nights for everyone.

Intro to Wacking with Waacklanta

Info: WAACKLANTA is home to Atlanta’s vibrant Waacking/Whacking scene. Waacking/Whacking is a dance style with multicultural roots in gay, black and brown communities in Los Angeles, born in the disco clubs of the 70s out of Queer oppression. This dance has since spread all over the world, and Atlanta’s Waacking community is another to join the scene.
