How It Works

Run it, hike it, swap it, suffer it, but don't drop it! It’s not just a race; it’s about strength, strategy and teamwork.

• Teams of Two: You and your partner share one sandbag for the entire course. Choose from Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles or Mixed Doubles.

• The Dirt Bag: We supply the official 20-lb Dirt Bag (complete with handles).

• The Rules: Carry it any way you like, just don’t drop it. Trade off as often as you want, but the bag must cross the finish line with you.

• Terrain: Expect dirt, roots, and hills. Grip up and embrace the mess.

• Finish Line: Celebrate your shared suffering with post-race pics, recovery, refreshments, bragging rights and prizes for the winners.

• Date: Sunday, November 23, 2025

• Location: Check in and bag drop at Burn Room Toronto. The race follows a marked 6K trail route in the Nordheimer Ravine, starting from Roycroft Park.

• Start Time: 9:00 a.m (arrive by 8:15am for check-in, warm-up, & bag drop)

Registration

• Team Entry (2 participants): $80 per team

• Individual Entry: $40 (we’ll pair you with a teammate of similar ability)

Who Can Enter

• Ages 18+
• Ages 16 - 17 require a parent or guardian present
• All team registrations must have 2 participants
• Substitutions allowed via official bib transfer prior to race day
• Categories: Mens Doubles, Womens Doubles & Mixed Doubles
