About this Event

Here at , we exist to create community and empower women in business and digital, through support, skills and networking. We know the power of creating spaces for people to come together to share experiences and skills and raise each other up.

Gathering together at our big in-person events is so meaningful but local is where the daily grind happens - in your little corner of the world.

'Digital Women Local' is an opportunity to meet others in your area, to network, to build connection and relationships, to learn from each other, to be accountable in reaching your goals and to champion each other in that daily grind.

Digital Women Local launched its pilot events in Kent in 2023 before expanding into London.

This is the first Digital Women Local event in Scotland!

About the Event

Join host at Tigerlily, 125 George Street, Edinburgh EH2 4JN for our very first Scotland meet-up.

Enjoy FREE networking and a mini-workshop from , founder of Technology Coaching (just buy yourself a coffee).

As this is our first Digital Women Local: Scotland event, we'll also chat about ideas for future sessions to make sure these events work for everyone who would like to come along.

About the Workshop: Is Your Digital Setup Helping or Hindering Your Business?

In this practical and conversational session, Sooz Young from Technology Coaching will guide attendees through the key elements of a strong digital setup.

Many businesses adopt new tools and platforms over time but few step back to ask whether their systems are actually helping them work more effectively.

During the session, Sooz will introduce a simple framework for reviewing your digital foundations across areas such as web presence, social media, AI & automation, cyber security and data.

Attendees will leave with practical insight into where their digital setup is supporting their work, where it may be creating friction and what to prioritise next.

Meet the Host - Harriet Mathie

Harriet Mathie uses practical research to help businesses stand out as go-to experts in their field so that they: attract stronger, better fit leads, build an audience that trusts and is more likely to buy from them - and open up opportunities, such as speaking, collaborations and partnerships.

Having worked with organisations of all shapes and sizes, from government bodies and universities to corporates and community groups, Harriet now focuses on ambitious small businesses and solo founders. She particularly loves building evidence-based insights for individuals and businesses who are brilliant at what they do but need something original, valuable and practical to share in order to get noticed.

Harriet is a Digital Women Awards Finalist & Highly Commended Data Specialist of the Year, 2025. Her business is Yellow Pebbles
