About this Event
Digital Healthcare, Prehabilitation, Robotics & The Virtual Hospital — Innovating Pathways in Colorectal Surgery
Join us for a forward-looking event bringing together surgeons, clinicians, allied health professionals, researchers and healthcare leaders to explore how digital health, prehabilitation, robotics and virtual hospital models are transforming colorectal surgical pathways. Expert talks and real-world case studies will examine:
- How digital tools and remote monitoring can support preoperative optimisation, enhance peri-operative safety and enable earlier supported discharge
- The impact of structured prehabilitation on outcomes, patient engagement and recovery
- Advances in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted colorectal surgery, including implementation, training and service sustainability
- Practical lessons from developing a Virtual Hospital model for postoperative care — patient experience, safety metrics and system benefits
