Digital Detox: No Phone Party

Join us for a social experiment / collective action / community building event! Getting off our phones is hard. It takes a collective agreement that we're all going to stay present and ignore our digital devices. So check your phone at the door!

We'll have plenty of interactive activities, including

• Meditation and breathwork with Monarch Yoga (FREE)
• Solar Zoetrope workshop with Iffy Books ($)
• Conversation starters with Touchy / Feely Card Game (FREE)

Available throughout the night: art supplies, playing cards, physical photos. Beer, wine, cider, cocktails & mocktails.

But how will this work?

• PHONE CHECK (like coat check)! When you arrive, you'll silence your phone and put it in a numbered pouch. You'll get a corresponding ticket. You can leave your phone in a secure area that will be monitored constantly by our staff. Or if you don't feel comfortable with that, you can keep the locked-up phone with you.
• STAY PRESENT AND ENJOY. Engage with whatever you'd like to, or just hang in a corner with your friends. In addition to the partner activities listed above, we'll have art supplies, playing cards, and other things to keep you occupied.
• CHECK OUT. When you leave, give us your phone-check ticket and we'll return your phone to you.
• EMERGENCIES? We recommend telling your important people that you'll be out of reach for a few hours. You can give them the Love City phone number in case something really urgent comes up: 215-398-1900. If you need to use your phone for any reason, please leave the Gardens before doing so.

**This event is FREE to attend! Pay-as-you-go for drinks, food, and extras.

**Anyone under age 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
