Course Description
This course is a practical, workflow-focused course designed to help dental professionals confidently implement intraoral scanning (IOS) and seamlessly integrate clear aligner therapy into everyday practice.
We will explore best practices for intraoral scanning, digital case submission, and lab collaboration while demystifying the clear aligner process from patient selection to delivery and follow-up. Participants will gain real-world insights into how IOS enhances diagnostic accuracy, improves communication, reduces remakes, and supports predictable outcomes. Emphasis is placed on practical application, team adoption, and workflow optimization to ensure digital tools translate into measurable practice growth and improved patient care.

Learning Objectives
- Understand the role of intraoral scanning (IOS) in modern digital dentistry, including its clinical, operational, and patient experience benefits
- Identify best practices for capturing accurate and efficient intraoral scans, reducing errors, remakes, and chair time
- Integrate clear aligner therapy into existing clinical workflows using IOS,
from patient evaluation through case submission and delivery - Recognize ideal first case, i.e., kicked out laterals, overlapping centrals,
minor crowding - Enhance collaboration with dental laboratories through digital workflows to improve case predictability and outcomes
- Implement team-based strategies for successful adoption of IOS and clear aligners, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability within the practice
- Leverage digital dentistry to increase case acceptance and practice efficiency
