Then & Now is a local history lecture series co-presented by the Livermore Heritage Guild and the Livermore Public Library. Livermore Area Park and Recreation District (LARPD) Open Space Interpreter Eric Whiteside will present a Then & Now program entitled “A History of Ranching at Sycamore Grove Park” on Wednesday, March 18 at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room located at 1188 S. Livermore Ave.
Livermore has a rich history of ranching, and Sycamore Grove Park is no exception. Eric will discuss the ranching history of the park's land and talk about one of its lesser-known historical landowners and ranchers, Delores Mesa.
Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults.
