Build gardening skills and explore local gardening resources at a free, family-friendly event hosted by the Piatt County Master Gardeners.Families are encouraged to visit a variety of hands-on activity stations such as microgreens with 4-H, seed starting with Monticello High School students, and houseplant propagation, rock painting, and pollinator exploration with Master Gardener volunteers.
Monticello’s In the Garden, Little Free Seed Library, and the Piatt County Master Gardener Help Desk will also be on-site, providing additional information and resources to attendees.
Mini-workshop Schedule:
10 am: Tool sharpening
10:30 am: Spring pruning
11 am: Soil testing
11:30 am: Worm composting
12 pm: Growing bulbs
12:30 pm: Growing cut flowers
