“Dig And Be Dug In Return,” inspired by the closing lines of Langston Hughes’ Motto, is an ode to Black expression, community, and collective healing. This curated performance honors the ways we gather, create, and care for one another as we work to break generational cycles and reclaim joy. Rooted in the sounds of Jazz, Soul, and R&B, the experience invites audiences into a space where vulnerability, resilience, and celebration coexist. Performers will be the Josh Strange Quartet, Camille Jones, DJ Rah D, and Dnaiel NoelThis performance is part of the Voices of Freedom series presented by Kennedy Heights Arts Center in partnership with Juneteenth Cincinnati, with support from ArtsWave's Circle Grant.
