A metal bellydance weekend with the mesmerising Diana Bastet!

Four thrilling workshops over two days and an evening show for you to enjoy.
Diana Bastet is a well known artist from Ukraine. She works with dark fusion, gothic fusion and metal bellydance styles. Her experience in metal belly dance started in 2010 with a combination of her two incompatible but favourite things - dance and heavy metal music. As well being an experanced and accomplished performer and instructor she also designs and creates unique handmade dark art costumes.
Diana has a fierce expressive dance style with a distinguished powerful stage presence. She is a generous and attentive teacher, A force to be reckoned with and not to be missed.

Workshop details:
Saturday 2nd November,
1-3pm
Burning heart:
A little bit of everything about the heart: above heart, near heart, under and behind heart. Workshop about perfect chest movements isolation, where Diana will share her own tricks and experience for improving dance technique of the upper body.
3:30 - 5:30pm
Witchy potion dance:
Hips have killer magic, so lets explore that magic and advance it.
This workshop is all about the strong and powerful, yet flexible and soft - but always confident hip work.
Starts with a good warm-up, hip exercises and hot hip work combos that are the best match for heavy metal music.
Sunday 3rd November
11:30am - 1:30pm
Metalicious:
A deep dive into the fierceness dancing to heavy metal music by combining power, grace, sexuality, strength, passion, confidence, fire and darkness. We will start with a good warm-up and learn some great combos. This is an active and intensive workshop with the best heavy metal music.
2 - 4 pm
Choreography workshop:
Learn a Metal Bellydance choreography with Diana Bastet.
