This Saturday, as the sun dips low and the garden comes alive in twilight’s glow, a most exquisite gathering shall unfold—where lords and ladies, queens and courtesans alike may be seen in their finest attire, each hoping, perhaps, to secure admiration… or something far more intriguing.
Guests will find themselves drawn into the dance, as lively figures are called and even the most hesitant may discover a surprising grace. One need not be an expert—only willing. Indeed, it is often those who least expect it who make the most memorable impression.
Within the ballroom, dance cards will be filled with names both familiar and newly discovered, encouraging encounters that may lead to delight… or delicious complication. And for those fluent in more subtle forms of communication, a delicate language of fans and glances shall offer ample opportunity for flirtation—should one dare to partake. The garden, of course, provides its own temptations.
