DEEP is an evidence-based diabetes self-management education program for people with prediabetes or diabetes, and relatives of those with diabetes. Education sessions provide people with diabetes and prediabetes with the knowledge and skills necessary to reduce complications resulting from diabetes, such as kidney failure, amputation, vision loss, heart failure and stroke. Classes are for 90 minutes and will be held every Monday @ 3:30pm starting April 13th to May 18th at the Oak Island Senior Center located at 5918 E Oak Island Dr. Oak Island, NC 28465
There is no cost to attend, class is limited to 16 participants.
