About this Event
Step into a sacred evening of remembrance, sound, and prayer as we honor Día de los Muertos—the Day of the Dead—a time to celebrate our ancestors, release what has passed, and open our hearts to renewal.
We’ll begin with a ceremonial cacao blessing, honoring this sacred heart medicine of the Americas. Cacao is a gentle yet powerful plant ally that helps us open the heart, soften the mind, and connect to the energy of love and remembrance. As its spirit flows through the body, it harmonizes our emotions, clears stagnation, and invites presence and gratitude.
From there, we’ll enter a transformative guided meditation—a journey inward to the depths of the psyche. In this meditative state, we open to receive the wisdom of our ancestors, visions from our higher selves, and intuitive downloads that bring clarity, healing, and renewal. This inner voyage prepares the body, heart, and spirit to receive the full medicine of sound.
then, we journey into a deep soundbath, guided by the healing resonance of medicine drum, gongs, crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other ancestral instruments. Each vibration is a prayer—an offering to cleanse, rebalance, and reconnect you to the heartbeat of the Earth and the wisdom of your lineage.
At the center of our gathering, a community altar will be adorned with marigolds, candles, flowers, and offerings to honor the ancestors. You are invited to bring personal items, photos, flowers, crystals, or meaningful objects to contribute to the altar—a way to honor your loved ones and connect your spirit to theirs through beauty and intention.
Together we will co-create a living altar of remembrance and transformation, where sound, cacao, and love become bridges between worlds.

This ceremony will be guided by Maryzelle Ungo—a Salvadoran-American curandera, sound healer, musician, and ceremonialist. With over 15 years as a multi-instrumentalist and a BA in Music (Sound Therapy emphasis), Maryzelle bridges ancestral wisdom and modern healing through her work as a trauma-informed energy practitioner.
Her offerings weave the elements of Earth, cacao, and sound to create sanctuaries of deep rest and heart expansion. Rooted in her Salvadoran lineage, she approaches each ceremony as both an artist and a healer—honoring the Earth, the ancestors, and the universal song that connects us all.
