Dharma Gathering: "In the Eye of the Storm: Balance in Turbulent Times"

We warmly invite you to join us for a Sunday Dharma Gathering. Each Gathering includes a brief meditation instruction and practice, a presentation on a dharma topic, and open discussion followed by refreshments and socializing.

Registration is suggested but not required — just come by. All are welcome!

This Sunday's topic is "In the Eye of the Storm: Balance in Turbulent Times" with Joe Mauricio

This interactive talk will be an introduction to a 5-week course exploring how meditation practice and Buddhist principles of non-violence and compassion can help us keep resilient and balanced while engaged in the world. We will explore the ideas of non-violent activism and the efficacy of kindness in facing the fear and hatred many of us are experiencing in the world.
