Join Brandi Zorzy for a 3-hour advanced yoga studies workshop. Eligible for 3 CEUs for yoga teachers.
part 1 - yoga asana masterclass - 90 min
A challenging asana sequence designed to build students' relationship to their practice, work on technique, and explore relationship with new postures (a companion practice for the philosophy discussion to come in part 2) This is appropriate for students who are comfortable with yoga at an intermediate or advanced level, or have taken at least 30 yoga classes.
Part 2 - 90 min yoga philosophy reflection + discussion circle
Brandi will present an overview of a concept in yogic philosophy, and facilitate ways for you to connect to it. Through meditation, discussion and reflection, you will be encouraged to explore your personal relationship to the presented dharma, and how it lands in your life as well as how you may communicate it to others, if you are a yoga teacher or other professional using yogic wisdom in your offerings.
You will be encouraged to investigate how it lands and may be a concept that applies and leads to freedom and self-mastery in your day to day life. Yoga teachers may expect to deepen their understanding and connection to the philosophy piece in a way that helps them share it in their classes and offerings.
