Welcome to our Meditation Classes!
In today’s busy world, it’s easy to feel stressed, tired, and disconnected from ourselves. Meditation is a simple and gentle way to slow down, relax the mind, and feel more calm inside. This class is created to help you feel more peaceful, clear, and balanced in a warm and welcoming space.
Is this class right for you?
This class is open to everyone, whether you are new to meditation or already have some experience. Our sessions are guided by Buddhist monks from Thailand, who share traditional wisdom in a way that is easy to understand and practical for everyday life. Through guided meditation, breathing exercises, and quiet moments, you will learn simple tools you can use to feel calmer, more focused, and more at ease in your daily life.
The class is held at Dhammakaya Meditation Center Kansas, a peaceful Buddhist Temple located in Wichita,Kansas
Public meditation classes are offered every Saturday (except the first Saturday of each month and special holidays).
from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Schedule
3:30 PM – Watch an inspiring Dhamma video and do light stretching together
4:00 PM – Meditation guidance and group meditation led by the meditation teacher
4:50 PM – End of meditation and Q&A for any questions about meditation
5:00 PM – Class concludes for the day
How to Prepare
- Please dress comfortably and modestly. Formal attire is not required.
- If you are feeling unwell, have a cough, or any condition that may cause loud or frequent noise, please consider joining us at a future session instead.
- Photos and videos may be taken during the event for offline and online promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please inform a staff member.
- Please maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere throughout the session so as not to disturb
