Join freelancers working in the participatory arts/ arts education for an in person DYCP focused workshop meeting.
About this Event

Please arrive at 9.15am for a prompt 9.30am start, tea and coffee will be provided.

LEAN's regular Breakfast Clubs include online and in person events. The July event will be in person at the Albany. We look forward to catching up with you!

This FREE workshop at the Albany includes THREE FREE online support sessions for all those considering applying for an Arts Council Developing Your Creative Practice grant and for those who would like to find out more.

Joining us in July will be Daisy Hale, Creative Director of The Hale - a London based arts producing company with specialist fundraising, access support, workshop facilitation experience.

This support package will focus on supporting you create a bid for the ACE grant Developing Your Creative Practice (DYCP).


The DYCP support package includes a 1hr online preparation meeting on Wednesday 26th June (morning) in advance of the workshop and a second online follow up support meeting on 24th July (morning). Zoom links will be sent in advance.


There will be an opportunity to ask questions. Tea and coffee will be served.


IMPORTANT NOTICE

The July in person workshop at the Albany will be proceed by a 1hr online preparation meeting during the morning of Wednesday 26th June at 10am. A zoom link will be sent to you.

After the workshop we will hold a follow up online meeting during the morning of Wednesday 24th July at 10am. A zoom link will be sent to you.

Following ACE decisions, a Where Next online support session will be scheduled for mid November.

About Daisy Hale

Daisy advocates for producer development and creating alternative models of working, leadership and project creation. In 2020 they co-created The Producer Report - investigating the working conditions of producers now.

Daisy regularly facilitates workshops & sessions on producing, leadership & inclusions for organizations including Clore, Soho Theatre, Yard Theatre, Stage One, NYT and Bradford Producing Hub. Daisy is an access consultant and disability equality trainer for arts organizations. They also work as an access support worker & fundraiser. They are a trustee of ArtsAdmin and Clore Leadership.

Previously, Daisy was Associate Producer for Theatre Royal Stratford East and Assistant Producer for the Borough of Enfield’s Theatres. They have been part of the Old Vic 12 (2018/19) and did Clore Emerging Leaders in 2020.
