Join us on Thursday, May 7th, as Detroit’s most talented young poets compete in InsideOut Literary Arts Detroit's Youth Poetry Slam! Hosted at the Charles H. Wright Museum, this two-round Poetry Slam Competition features teen poets embracing their full excellence, and the top-scoring poets will be invited to interview for a slot in InsideOut's Youth Performance Troupe, a rigorous teen-centered creative mentorship offering.
Win, lose, or draw, the Teen Poets in this competition will go on to perform their work across Detroit, become published authors, and write their way into Detroit’s rich artistic history.
This event is sure to encourage souls, enlighten minds, and spark imagination!
