About this Event
Join us for a community litter cleanup along the beautiful Detroit River where we will clean some of the riverfront parks and surrounding areas.
Garbage bags & trash pickers will be provided.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves + a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

WHERE TO MEET:
14601 Riverside Blvd, Detroit, MI 48215
PLEASE park on Riverside Blvd OR at Lakewood East Park (next to Detroit River Sports and Coriander Kitchen and Farm).
WHAT TO KNOW:
Spring on the river is often chilly and muddy, so we recommend wearing warm layers and shoes you don't mind getting dirty.
We will have some gloves available if you forget yours, but our supply is limited and they will be first-come, first-served.
We will weigh all collected trash and share the data with our friends at The Cleanup Club to support their Great Lakes advocacy efforts.
