Due to demand, the Des Was a Bowie Fan clubnight adds a Sunday matinee discotheque to follow on from their Saturday night in the Bee's Mouth. Indiepop, new wave, post-punk, 60s Pop and Northern Soul dancing down in the beautiful basement room of The Bee's Mouth on Western Road.

The Shangri-Las to The Smiths, Candi Staton to The Cure, Brigitte Bardot to Belle and Sebastian, Roy Orbison to The Raincoats, Dusty Springfield to Depeche Mode, Jackie Wilson to Joy Division, Jimmy Ruffin to David Bowie. 3PM till 7pm. Get in as early as you can to get suitably oiled up. The bar has a cracking selection of drinks including some Belgian specials on tap.

Advance tickets are limited to 50.

Des Was a Bowie Fan is a clubnight founded in 2013 at the Tutu's nightclub on London's Strand. It has since played out residencies at East End venues Jamboree, The George Tavern and Paper Dress Vintage, creating feral Pop dancing havens for lovers and dreamers young and old. Guest DJs at the club in its London carnation have included Eddie Argos of Art Brut, Darren Hayman of John Peel favourites Hefner, and feminist author and post-punk musician Helen McCookerybook. It is Wales' 600th most successful export across the bridge, coming in just after Shakin' Stevens' autobiography.
