About this Event
Derby Carers Connect: Improving Carer Support
Workshops for carers from every community in Derby
Your experience can help improve carer support in Derby.
Carers play a vital role in our city. However, many carers — especially those from different cultures, communities and backgrounds — are not getting the support they need.
Derby Carers Connect is working in partnership with Derby City Council and local carers services to improve how support works across Derby.
These workshops are practical, welcoming and focused on action.
Together, we will:
- Share experiences of caring in Derby
- Explore why some carers struggle to access support
- Identify gaps and barriers
- Work together
- Develop realistic ideas for improvement
- Agree clear next steps
