About this Event
Ashtanga Yoga Hobart is honoured to welcome Dena and Jack to Lutruwita/Tasmania for four morning practices and two weekend workshops.
This is Dena and Jack's first time teaching in Tassie, and we are beyond thrilled to have them share their deep wisdom and experience with the community. We hope you can join.
“Life is a collection of relationships.
The primary one being with ourselves.
If these relationships go well, there is potential for joy.
If these relationships are hostile…. then there is pain.
We are gifted with the possibility of introspection and self reflection.
The awareness to make conscious choices whilst navigating life.
But sometimes we feel lost or confused about how to resolve conflict and find our way peace.
“Yoga Darshana” (Patañjali Yoga Sūtra: the foundational text on yoga) presents a way of seeing.
A way of seeing oneself and a way of seeing reality.
This way of seeing is one where we come to understand and take responsibility for our particular personality and behavioral pattern.
One where we come to appreciate the complexity of our nature and shift from contraction to expansion.
One where our choices become conscious, and healing and transformation are possible.
Though this wisdom is ancient, it remains relevant as a supportive guide to one’s spiritual evolution.
