Oftentimes theory can scare people away with all the fancy labels and symbols, so this will be a class aimed at helping the musician come to a more personal and intuitive understanding of music and how it works.We will discuss the benefits and the limitations of learning music theory and why/how it can help the musician further their music experience.
We will then explore the basic components of music (rhythm, harmony, melody) and create a foundation for how each musician can come to their own understanding of music theory. Come with any questions or discussion topics that we can explore together.
The aim will be to help each musician on their way to a better understanding of music.
