We are back again with another Dementia Friendly Screening at the Kirky Cinema in the Kirkintilloch Town Hall, we will be showing The Jungle Book (2016 Live Action) as a Dementia Friendly screening at The Kirkintilloch Town Hall, Union street, doors open at 1:45pm for a 2pm showing on Friday 1st May. Tickets are Adult £5, Child £3 and Carers go free.
Tea, coffee and cakes are available during the showing
Mowgli is a boy brought up in the jungle by a pack of wolves. When Shere Khan, a tiger, threatens to K*ll him, a panther and a bear help him escape his clutches.
Working in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland, our Dementia Friendly screenings are carefully structured to suit the needs of those living with Dementia and their carers. The hall is lighter with the volume reduced.
Subtitles are on.
There will be friendly staff available throughout the movie for a wee blether.
These screenings are a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where we encourage chatting and dancing.
