DeKalb Local Showcase

Come check out the free DeKalb Local Showcase happening at the NIU Convocation Center on April 23, 2026 at 3:30pm. It’s a great chance to meet over 100 local businesses and organizations offering activities, giveaways, resources, and job openings.
Free parking. Free admission. Concessions stand will be open to purchase snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic available).

Info: Officially celebrates America's 250th birthday with a performance of the National Anthem, God Bless America, and color guard. Free American flags will also be handed out to those in attendance (while supplies last)!
