About:The Reduction Roadmap: an Earth-shot project which – for the first time ever - translates the Paris Agreement into building industry-specific reduction. Through Reduction Roadmap in 2023, more than 630 firms, municipalities and organizations called for a new political CO₂ cap in the Danish building legislation. This successfully led to a 40% reduction in carbon limits.
ByggestopBevægelsen: a movement that aims to bring the Danish construction industry within the planetary boundaries by: 1.Sharp reduction in demolitions;
2.Sharp reduction in new construction
3.Refocus towards renovations and transformations of the existing building stock.
Delhus (Danish for “Share House”):
175.000 more people will live in Denmark in 2040, creating a significant housing demand while planet’s ecological boundaries are tightening. Delhus is about providing for all within planetary limits by dividing the buildings that already exist – without new construction.
