Love on the rocks isn’t a surprise, but Tio Lucho’s likes to keep things interesting. This Valentine’s Day, it goes under the sea, serving a menu that’s a catch for hearts and appetites alike. On Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14, the Peruvian-American favorite will offer an intimate, elevated tasting menu by James Beard-nominated Chef Arnaldo Castillo, priced at $90 per person. Each evening begins with a welcome oyster crowned with aji crème fraîche and caviar, paired with a celebratory glass of cava, before moving into three meticulously crafted courses and a mid-meal crab hushpuppy with trout roe and huancaína. For the main course, guests can choose between filet mignon with Crab Oscar and papas fritas or blackened grouper with mango chalaca and vegetable succotash. The evening finishes on a sweet note with a strawberry pavlova and lucuma ice cream.
