About this Event
Akoma Day (also known as Black Love Day) honors the heart—love of self, love of family, love of community, and love of culture. This creative gathering invites children, adults, couples, and families to celebrate Akoma through art, presence, and connection.
Using doll head art, participants will design a one-of-a-kind Brooch. Magnet, Keychain or Purse Charm inspired by their personal expression, cultural pride, and inner beauty. No experience needed—just come as you are.
5:00–9:00 PM | FAMILY & CHILD-FRIENDLY FLOW
All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
