Our guests this month will be:
David St. John’s many books of poetry include Study for the World’s Body (HarperPerennial, 1994), which was a finalist for the National Book Award. He is coeditor of American Hybrid: A Norton Anthology of New Poetry (W. W. Norton, 2009). His awards include the Prix de Rome Fellowship from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the Discovery/The Nation Prize. St. John currently teaches in the PhD Program in creative writing and literature and is the chair of the English department at the University of Southern California. He is a Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets.
Callie Siskel is the author of the poetry collection Two Minds from W. W. Norton. Her poetry appears in The Paris Review, The Atlantic, and the New York Review of Books. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, she has received scholarships from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference. She is a poetry editor at the Los Angeles Review of Books. @callie_gray
Ramón García is the author of three collections of poetry: The Chronicles (Red Hen Press, 2015), Strange Signatures (Walton Well Press, 2025) and Other Countries (What Books Press, 2010). The Chronicles was a finalist for the Latino International Book Award for Best Poetry Book in English in 2016. His poetry has appeared in The Best American Poetry anthology and in The Floating Borderlands: Twenty-Five Years of US-Hispanic Literature. He is a professor at California State University, Northridge. @rgarciamon
Gail Wronsky is the author, coauthor, or translator of eighteen books of poetry and prose, including the poetry collection Dying for Beauty, a finalist for the Western Arts Federation Poetry Prize. She taught creative writing and women’s literature at Loyola Marymount University, where she was awarded the Harry M. Daum Professorship. Her poems have appeared in many journals, including Poetry, Boston Review, Antioch Review, Denver Quarterly, and Poetry International.

is the author of three poetry collections. Her poems have been included in the Best American Poetry anthology, have been read on BBC Radio, and have been featured in the national newspaper column American Life in Poetry. She has given readings at Cambridge University, the Getty Museum, MOCA, the Barrick Museum, and the L.A. Times Festival of Books, and her work is the subject of the feature-length documentary Peace Piece: The Immersive Poems of Mandy Kahn. @mandykahn

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for PRS events, except in the event of a medical emergency, including but not limited to a positive COVID-19 test.
In the event that PRS is forced to cancel an event entirely, tickets will be refunded or vouchers offered for a rescheduled event.
PARKING
We encourage attendees to consider carpooling, walking or biking to events if possible, and please be considerate of our Los Feliz neighbors when parking. Street parking is available on Griffith Park Blvd. and (after 7 PM) on Los Feliz Blvd. Limited parking is available onsite at PRS in the front lot (entry from Los Feliz Blvd. when heading east). PRS EVENT POLICIES
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
- Events are subject to change without notice, including guest speakers and/or performers.
- We encourage you to arrive at least 30 min. before the scheduled event start time to find parking, enjoy the Bookstore and take your seats.
- Please turn off all mobile devices before the show. Talking and texting are not allowed during the events.
- No filming, audio recording or mobile phone recording of events, screenings, concerts or other programs by audience members is allowed without permission.
- There is no smoking permitted on PRS grounds.
- We strongly encourage guests to wear masks to PRS events to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
- PRS allows Service Animals into the facility under ADA and state guidelines. For further details please visit www.ADA.gov. No animals permitted whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support, under ADA guidelines and CA Health Code.
- Please do not bring outside food or drink into PRS events.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited at PRS events.
