About this Event
Mother Earth has been calling her orphan children back home. Her grief is her voice guiding us to her sacred womb. We are at a time where collectively her children who've upheld settler colonial worldviews and systems are beginning to feel her grief and theirs, seeking reconnection to Earth’s ancestral cultural expressions. In order to minimize individual harm and systemic oppression in this process, we need to decolonize and unlearn many ways of being, cultivate balanced relationships to our ecosystems and begin an acculturation process. During this talk we will be addressing the experience of decolonization, rematrition and re-indigenization as healthy, sustainable and interwoven frameworks to our collective healing.
