About this Event
For several months the Rural Wealth Creation Collaborative have pursued the possibility of developing attainable housing in Drayton Valley. Together we've looked at various pieces of land, spoken to local realtors, met with various community service agencies to learn about need.
Now we've been given the green light by Council to look at the feasibility of developing housing on the Deby Lands. This 9-10acres offers us a canvas to design housing that meets the needs of workers, youth, some seniors and more. Help guide this next stage of housing development at our Attainable Housing Design Session!
Together we will investigate the range of housing options we can develop, what other amenties we might want to add on the land, and how the new housing will mix well with the housing around it. As we will be at Beehive, we will also walk over to look at the land for inspiration.
The session will last approximately 3 hours, with the option to stay for a lunch provided by the facilitation team. Tea and coffee will be available throughout.
