If you have a need to talk about death or dying for whatever reason and have difficulty to find an open ear and mind to talk it over, share views and experiences with other like-minded people you will find this group welcoming! A Death Cafe meeting is a group directed conversation of death and all aspects of dying, with no "experts", agenda, objectives or themes. It provides an open forum for people to talk and share with others whatever they can contribute about the subject, with no intention of leading participants to any conclusion, product or course of action.
We do this in an open, respectful and confidential space where people can express their views safely without any pressure of what or how much or little they share.
Our objective is to increase awareness of death as a normal part of life with a view to helping people make the most of their lives.

Space and time are limited which necessitates restriction of maximum attendance for 15 people. Therefore a reply "interested" does not get you on the attendance list which will stop at 15 persons which we have exceeded in the past, and don't allow any more as it gets really difficult to give everybody enough time and space to share!
