About this Event

Have you ever thought, just maybe, you belong with your friends at a special Taylor Swift celebration event?

Ahead of the Eras tour kicking off a historic run in Toronto, take the moment to make friendship bracelets, get a photograph to hang on your wall and explore the ways Taylor Swift's life and music truly are sweeter than fiction.

Connect with fellow attendees over hands-on Taylor-themed activities, then sit down for a fun and illuminating discussion about the many ways to "read" the popstar.

CBC Radio host and noted Toronto Swiftie Elamin Abdelmahmoud will lead a conversation with writer and Victoria and Albert Museum Taylor Swift “superfan adviser” Kelsey Barnes, culture writer Anne T. Donahue and bestselling novelist Uzma Jalaluddin. With an opportunity for audience Q&A, this special panel of fans and experts will explore how we read Taylor, including how fans interpret her music, the ways she's influenced contemporary culture and how she's been covered by the media throughout her career.

This event includes:

  • A special panel conversation exploring Taylor Swift's life and work.
  • Activity stations including crafts, a photo booth and a book selling area.
  • And more!

So go and tell your friends, grab your favourite cardigan and fill that blank space in your calendar.

...Ready for it?
