DC Youth Orchestra Tour Fundraiser: A Musical Evening at the Austrian Embassy
Join us for a spectacular night of music at the Austrian Embassy in Washington, DC! The DC Youth Orchestra Program (DCYOP) is hosting a special fundraising event to support their flagship Youth Orchestra's upcoming tour to Austria, Czechia, and Germany in July 2024.
Get ready to be mesmerized by the incredible talent of DCYOP's own Young Virtuosi chamber orchestra as they fill the embassy's beautiful hall with the sounds of works by Haydn, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Bruckner, Coleridge-Taylor, and Strauss Sr. After their performance, enjoy a dessert and wine reception featuring authentic Austrian and German refreshments and learn more about DCYOP, which has empowered students in the DC region to transform their lives through the power of music and community for over 60 years.
This intimate and exclusive event promises to be an unforgettable evening, where you can enjoy a delightful musical performance while supporting young musicians in their dreams of participating in a once-in-a-lifetime international tour experience. Registration is free with a suggested minimum donation of $75 per person or $100 per family.
