Team Sculptors: Help us transform the National Mall, DC Walk 4 ReCovery site with your Creative Minds into vibrant, meaningful expressions of recovery, and hope.
Early Birds: The magic begins at 7:00 AM. If you're an early riser, join us to catch the sunrise and set the tone for a day of transformation.
The Volunteer Decoration Team will meet at the registration site to , for BACKDROP PICTURE CITY & the VENDOR FAIR.
The DC Walk 4 ReCovery's BACKDROP CITY is more than decorations; it symbolizes resilience and strength over behavioral health challenges. Since 2018, the walk event educates on the complex interplay of addictions and mental health, that are known together as Co-Occurring Disorders, and their effects that are associated with the opioid/fentanyl epidemic.
The Volunteer Decoration Team will meet at the registeration site to recieve instructions and embark on transforming the DC Walk 4 ReCovery's Event Site, at 7:00 AM
