Come give a toast to Texas and connect with your fellow Longhorns as we celebrate Texas Independence Day a little early on Saturday, February 28. We’re having a party as well as a fundraiser to benefit our local Longhorns.
The party will be in a private party room at Mission Navy Yard. Admission will give you two drink tickets (beer or wine), a private bartender, appetizers, DJ, and open mic karaoke. Your MC will start off the festivities with a couple of Texas sing-a-longs, so come ready to show some Texas spirit!
The fundraiser will be a silent auction to raise scholarship money for local high school students from the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia areas who will attend UT as freshmen in the fall. Auctioned items will include donated tickets, merchandise and memorabilia from Texas-owned businesses and several local, Texas-friendly favorites. We’re going to have some awesome items for everyone to bid on that will remind y’all of your time in Austin—more information will be posted soon!
So come out in your best “Texas chic” attire and join us as we celebrate the Lone Star State.
