About this Event
Join us as DC’s mayoral candidates engage in a pivotal discussion about the city’s future through the lens of our public health, economic resilience, and environment. With a spotlight on the voices and priorities of communities east of the river, the forum explores how sustainability intersects with public health, education, affordable energy, resilient green infrastructure, housing, equity issues, core city services, and community wellbeing. Discover candidates’ visions for a greener, healthier, and more prosperous DC for all.

This forum is being presented and supported through the resources and collaboration of local community and nonprofit organizations.

Doors open at 6:00 pm; Forum from 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
The forum will be moderated by Tom Sherwood(Resident Political Analyst, WAMU 88.5 Politics Hour, and contributing writer for the Washington City Paper).
Note that this forum is a nonpartisan event designed to give all candidates equal opportunity to share their views. No campaign materials, signs, or fundraising items will be distributed or displayed at the event, and all candidates will be treated equally in terms of promotion, introductions, speaking time, and related materials.
TICKETS & SEATING
Registration is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to registered guests; however, registration does not guarantee a seat once capacity is reached.
GETTING THERE
Note that there is free parking at TheARC, but space is limited. There is some street parking available, but public transportation is encouraged. TheARC is a 3-minute walk from the Southern Ave metro station (Green line).
