Start Your Journey Toward Becoming a Master Naturalist! UDC-CAUSES' one hour, virtual info-session welcomes District residents who want to give back to their communities through the university's 10-week Master Naturalist Certificate Program.
Attendees will learn about the program and the application process, as well as volunteer opportunities and environmental stewardship. Participants will support a wide range of environmental conservation projects across the District.
What You Need To Know:
Must be 18 years old or older
10 Week Course: March - May 2025
10 Classes: In-Person
Wednesdays from 6 PM - 9 PM
Van Ness Campus located at 4200 Connecticut Ave NW. Washington, D.C.
About DC Master Naturalist:
The District of Columbia Master Naturalist Program trains and supports residents to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for DC’s natural resources, green spaces, waterways, and wildlife both within their own communities and more broadly across the district. Participants work toward providing meaningful and actionable stewardship in natural resources education and outreach. The DC Master Naturalist Program provides a solid theoretical and applied foundation in the science and practice of natural resource conservation and management, natural history, and urban sustainability.
