About this Event
This workshop is for instructors from the School of Visual Arts.
Simple Syllabus can be more than a place to post due dates and course policies for your students; at its best, your syllabus is a place to share your overall course plan and illuminate the journey that you and your students will be taking together. Learning outcomes can be the foundation of this plan - how are your students changed by your course? What new skills will they have acquired? What will they have created? We'll look at how Bloom's Taxonomy can help us articulate learning outcomes that are observable, achievable, and meaningful, and that point towards assessments and learning activities. We'll conclude with entering these outcomes into Simple Syllabus and answering any lingering questions about the Simple Syllabus system.
