D.C. Black History Celebration Committee Black History Kick-Off

Help celebrate Black History with the D.C. Black History Celebration Committee (DCBHCC) by joining our In-Person Black History Kick-Off on Saturday, February 1 at 11:00 AM ET/PT.

The keynote speaker for the event is Dr. Frank Smith - Director and Founder African American Civil War Museum. The program will include recognition of Thomas Blanton, Robert Brannum, Elise Bryant, Vyllorya Evans, Marquett Milton, Sandra “Momma Sandy” Morgan, and Emma Ward.
