About this Event
DBT Group Therapy (4-week series)
Join our in-person DBT group therapy series designed to help you build skills, manage emotions, and improve relationships. Over four weeks, you’ll connect with others, learn practical tools, and work toward lasting change in a supportive and structured setting.
DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) is an evidence-based approach that helps people better understand and regulate emotions, reduce impulsive reactions, and cope more effectively with stress. It focuses on practical, real-life skills that can be applied right away.
Group therapy offers the added benefit of shared learning, normalization of experiences, and support from others working toward similar goals. The small group format allows for a comfortable pace, more interaction, and a supportive environment for practicing new skills.
Across the four weeks, we will introduce the core DBT skill modules:
- Mindfulness – staying present and grounded
- Distress Tolerance – getting through crisis moments effectively
- Emotion Regulation – understanding and managing emotions
- Interpersonal Effectiveness – improving communication and relationships
This is a great introductory DBT course that is easy to commit to, whether you’re new to DBT or looking for a helpful refresher.
